Thankful for the Little Things

More than just the kickoff to the holiday season, Thanksgiving is a truly American celebration.

It crosses religious, cultural, and geographical boundaries, and offers us a chance to come together with people we love, and to remember what is good in our lives.

The Weichert, Realtors® – Carter & Company family knows that it’s often the little things that make each day brighter or easier. We’d like to share with you some of the honest and everyday good things that we’re really thankful for. Really thankful.

Healthy, home-cooked meals.
So many people in this world don’t have access to good nutrition, but our holiday table is always filled with plenty of vegetables and a delicious turkey.

Blue skies.
We love to take a walk in the fresh air after our Thanksgiving dinner. It feels so good to take a deep breath and find a little contentment.

Music.
Our family loves to sing and play the guitar together. Music really is the best nourishment for the soul.

The passage of time.
I’ve loved watching my children grow up into successful, kind adults. I’ve loved growing wiser with each day.

The ability to give.
We all have talents that we can share. For some, it’s just being congenial –that’s the best part of being here in the South, we have big hearts! During the holidays, we volunteer with our church to make sure everyone gets a warm and filling Thanksgiving meal.

As you sit down to your feast this week, we hope you’ll be grateful for all of the small blessings in your lives, too.

When it comes down to it, we really do have a lot to be thankful for.

Have A Very Happy Thanksgiving.
